Ken became a member of the Georgia Bar Association in 1980. He has practiced personal injury law since that time. In 1989, he formed Kenneth S. Nugent, P.C., now with offices in eight Georgia cities and one in Huntsville AL. In 2010, Ken opened the Nugent Law Firm, LLC in Tallahassee, FL. Although he is not personally licensed to practice in Florida, his firms have attorneys licensed to practice Law in Florida. Ken resides in Georgia, is married, and has five children.

Our partner in Florida, Mary F. Aspros, attended Florida State University where she obtained a Bachelors degree in Psychology in 1995, a Masters degree in Social Work in 1997, and a Juris Doctorate in 2000. Prior to joining the firm, she practiced in the areas of labor and employment litigation and professional licensing. She is currently focusing her practice areas on personal injury and Social Security Disability Insurance claims. Ms. Aspros is licensed to practice in all State and Federal Courts in Florida and is a member of the Florida Bar in good standing. She is also a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives.

Mike served as a Superior Court law clerk and an Assistant District Attorney for the Conasauga Judicial Circuit before entering private practice. He has extensive civil and criminal trial experience and has handled litigation in numerous counties throughout the state. In 1995, he was admitted to the Florida State Bar. In addition to handling personal injury cases for Kenneth S. Nugent, P.C., Mike is a General Civil and Domestic Relations Mediator for Cobb, Dekalb and Gwinnett counties.
